End of Q4 means just in time for the holiday shopping season. They don't yet have model names, but they've got code names & core frequencies. These will be hot chips (TDP 130W) & require a new socket (LGA 1366).

If the Inq is right, Intel's entry into the discrete graphics market will be officially announced in just a couple of months. I'm sure interested to see how this thing runs...

Let's look at the history: '97, then 2000, then XP (2002), then 2003 & finally 2007. Looking at 2009 for the next release wouln't be too out of the question, but it's definitely not a regular schedule.
