Written by t-readyroc

Lots of discussion going on lately about how the latest generation of laser mice from major manufacturers such as Razer & Logitech really weren't performing on a par with their price premiums. Well, it looks like Logitech is at least working on the problem...

"There’s finally some good news from Logitech in regards to laser technology in its G5 and G7 laser mice, and the surface tracking issues they were prone to. On November 24th, Logitech issued a firmware upgrade for G5, the wired counterpart to the cordless G7."

New Adsense Onsite Advertiser Sign-up

Or should I say, 'AdBrite Killer'?  Similar to how AdBrite sells advertising space, Google Adsense Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up will allow advertisers to bid for advertising space directly on participating websites.

Wonder how long it'll take Yahoo! Publishers Network to do the same?  Can AdBrite survive?

Interview with LANPartyNW founder at OCModShop
Written by t-readyroc
Wednesday, 16 November 2005

OCModShop has an exclusive interview with one of the founders of the largest LAN party organizations in the Pacific Northwest, LanPartyNW. This LAN group started over 3 years ago and has grown to host 400 MAN LAN parties and has received press from MTV and Tom's Hardware.

"We started looking at past rosters of our original garage LANs. Being that we could only hold 30 people in the garage, and that was really packing ‘em in. I noticed a trend of 60+ people trying to sign up for a 30 man LAN. I talked to Dan, and we agreed that we needed to do a big one. So we started the signups for a 100 man lan, and secured some contracts with the Holiday Inn, and they had never heard of such a thing."
